Request the State Auditor to conduct a performance audit of the Department of Education's Office of Curriculum and Instructional Design and its policies and procedures.

Examine whether the Office's activities are achieving intended objectives and being conducted effectively, efficiently, economically, ethically, and equitably.

As of December 1, 2020, active contracts ranging from $38,500 to $215,000 appeared to duplicate the Office's duties for curriculum development, design, and review services.

Auditor to submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2022 Regular Session convenes.

Transmit certified copies of the resolution to the State Auditor, Board of Education Chairperson, and Superintendent of Education.
