Request Department of Education to create a landscape management plan designed to increase tree canopies on public school grounds statewide.

Plan shall document existing inventory and talent related to landscaping and tree management at schools and identify additional resources needed for implementation and sustainability.

Establish statewide timelines and deliverables for tree canopy expansion, with plan updates required every five years.

Create a Tree Manual containing current arboricultural principles and industry standards to guide tree selection, placement, and care across school campuses.

Transmit certified copies of resolution to the Superintendent of Education and Chairperson of the Board of Education.
