Urges University of Hawaii community colleges and Department of Human Resources Development to coordinate with Department of Education to establish an office administrative assistant apprenticeship pathway in state high schools by January 1, 2022

Pathway must allow high school students to participate in the apprenticeship program while still enrolled in high school and earn dual credits

Directs Department of Human Resources Development to accept applications and register high school students into the apprenticeship program for fall semester 2022

Addresses 800+ vacant office assistant positions and 200+ vacant secretary positions in the state by providing workforce development through early career access

Requires Department of Human Resources Development to report to Legislature before end of fall 2022 semester detailing the number of high school students enrolled in the program
