Requests the City and County of Honolulu to amend ordinances to impose a mandatory 30-day ban from park use for persons cited or arrested for violating the park closure ordinance under section 10-1.2(a)(12) of the Revised Ordinances of Honolulu.

The 30-day ban begins on the date of citation or arrest and is enforced 24 hours a day, seven days per week.

Violations of the 30-day ban are subject to arrest under the park closure ordinance or state trespass laws, as applicable.

Current penalties for park closure violations are limited to fines up to $500, imprisonment up to 30 days, or both, with no mandatory park access ban included.

Directs certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Mayor, Director of Parks and Recreation, and Chair of the Honolulu City Council.
