Requests all licensed physicians and surgeons in Hawaii to ensure infants born alive after an attempted abortion are not denied nourishment or medically appropriate care and treatment.

Specifies that physicians are not required to provide medical treatment that is not necessary to save the infant's life, poses greater risk than benefit, or would only temporarily prolong dying in non-viable cases.

Requests physicians who perform abortions resulting in live births to inform the mother, treat the infant as a legal person, transfer care to an emergency physician, and contact the Department of Human Services if the mother does not wish custody.

Directs the Hawaii Medical Board to transmit copies of the resolution to all physicians, surgeons, osteopathic physicians, and osteopathic surgeons licensed to practice in Hawaii.
