Designates April as Tree Awareness Month in the State of Hawaii to raise awareness of the multitude of benefits and importance of trees.

Recognizes trees' environmental contributions including combating climate change, reducing carbon footprint, cleaning air, removing pollutants, and storing carbon while releasing oxygen.

Acknowledges trees' health and community benefits such as cooling urban areas up to 10 degrees Fahrenheit, reducing UV-B exposure by nearly 50 percent, improving mental health and productivity, and increasing property values.

Notes trees' economic importance to Hawaii's tourism-based economy, sustainable living, agricultural sector, and creation of green jobs through harvesting of agricultural products.

Directs transmission of certified copies to the Governor, Chairperson of Board of Land and Natural Resources, and all county mayors.
