Notes Filipino contributions to Hawaii since the arrival of the first fifteen Filipino plantation workers on December 20, 1906, and their service in the U.S. Armed Forces, including recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor

Commits the Hawaii Senate to exploring opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation between Hawaii and the Philippines and supporting the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu in promoting Filipino-American culture and traditions

Renews support for democratic institutions, processes, and human rights protections in the Philippines, with certified copies to be sent to the Governor and Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu
