Request the Department of Agriculture's Division of Aquatic Resources to place Northern Largemouth Bass (Micropterus salmoides salmoides) on the list of conditionally approved animals that may be imported into Hawaii with a permit.

Request the Division of Aquatic Resources to obtain an import permit for Northern Largemouth Bass once the species is approved for conditional importation.

Require the Division of Aquatic Resources to ensure fresh Northern Largemouth Bass stock be imported for use in state-supported bass hatcheries, including the existing hatchery at Wahiawa Middle School on Oahu.

Require completion of these tasks prior to the 2022 regular legislative session, with a progress report submitted to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2022 session.

Transmit certified copies of the resolution to the Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources and the Chairperson of the Board of Agriculture.
