Requests the Chairperson of the Hawaiian Homes Commission to convene and chair a Homestead Agricultural Demonstration Projects Working Group to develop recommendations for agricultural initiatives on Hawaiian trust lands.

Working group membership includes the Chairpersons of the Board of Agriculture, Board of Land and Natural Resources, University of Hawaii College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources Dean, Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation Board, all county mayors, Sovereign Council of Hawaiian Homestead Associations Chairperson, and Kamehameha Schools Board of Trustees Chairperson.

Working group shall consider recommendations to facilitate demonstration projects that support farming and ranching on Hawaiian home lands, including low-cost financing, technical support services, and development of up to 20 farm and ranch worker housing units.

Working group must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2022 Regular Session convenes.

Working group shall be dissolved on June 30, 2022.
