Requests all state agencies to convene and participate in the Hawai'i Circular Economy Task Force to support Hawaii's transition toward a circular economy by 2035.

Task force recommendations must consider circular economy values in government decision-making across operations, infrastructure, purchasing, and regulatory frameworks.

Task force must incorporate circular economy principles into future policy and regulatory actions while restoring 'āina and communities to elevate local self-sufficiency.

Task force recommendations should support waste reduction and regenerative impacts on Hawai'i's 'āina and resources, and consider using the 'Āina Aloha Economic Futures Assessment Tool for resource allocation decisions.

Task force must submit findings, recommendations, and proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2022 Regular Session convening.
