Resolution cites that 47 percent of Hawaii public school students were economically disadvantaged in 2019-2020 and that a 2016 New York City pilot program found free menstrual products increased attendance by 2.4 percent.

Certified copies of the resolution are to be transmitted to the Chairperson of the Board of Education and Superintendent of Education.
