Urges the Department of Transportation and City and County of Honolulu to replace existing crosswalks with raised crosswalks along North Road between Fort Weaver Road and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Ewa Beach.

Cites that speeding is a contributing factor in nearly 50 percent of all traffic fatalities in Hawaii and that speeding remains a serious issue on North Road despite existing crosswalks.

Identifies raised crosswalks as an effective method to slow traffic and protect residents of Ewa Beach.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Director of Transportation, Mayor, Honolulu City Council Chair, and other relevant city officials and the Ewa Neighborhood Board.
