H.B. 148 Summary

• Extends the Employees' Retirement System reporting requirement to submit annual reports to the legislature on state and county department compliance through 2026 (previously ended in 2020)

• Delays the effective date of Act 87, Session Laws of Hawaii 2015 from July 1, 2020 to July 1, 2026, providing additional time for state and county departments and agencies to comply with new employees' retirement system reporting standards

• Requires all state and county departments and agencies to cooperate with the Employees' Retirement System when making reasonable requests for information

• Reports must be submitted at least twenty days prior to the convening of regular legislative sessions in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026
