Mandates the Department of Public Safety develop and maintain gender-responsive, community-based work furlough programs for female offenders as a core program offering.

Requires expansion of community-based work furlough and reentry programs for female offenders regardless of funding source or implementing state agency.

Requires the Department of Public Safety and any other state agency contracting with these programs to submit annual reports to the legislature detailing funding expended, number of women served, services provided, and program outcomes.

Appropriates general revenues to the Department of Public Safety for fiscal year 2022-2023 to ensure continuation and expansion of community-based work furlough for women (specific amount not filled in).

Takes effect July 1, 3000.
