Authorizes the Department of Education to offer optional asthma self-management instruction to students covering asthma facts, symptoms, triggers, and self-management skills.

Requires the Department of Education to develop and provide mandatory asthma training to teachers and other department employees who interact with students, including recognition of symptoms and asthma management.

Allows parents, guardians, and other department employees to attend the required asthma training at no cost.

Permits the Department of Education to coordinate with public or private entities and use existing educational resources when developing the instruction and training programs.

Takes effect on July 1, 2050.
