Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 387-2(a) to establish annual minimum wage increases from 2022 through 2028.

Sets minimum wage at $11.00 per hour beginning January 1, 2022, with subsequent annual increases of $1.00 per hour each year.

Establishes final minimum wage of $17.00 per hour beginning January 1, 2028.

Applies to all employers in Hawaii except those exempt under Section 387-9 and other specified exemptions in Section 387-2.

Takes effect upon approval.
