Amends the definition of "private school" in Hawaii's compulsory attendance law (Section 302A-1132) to include three categories: licensed schools, licensed and accredited schools, or accredited-only schools.

Expands the recognized accrediting bodies to include the Hawaii Association of Independent Schools, Hawaii Council of Private Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges, Western Catholic Educational Association, Association of Christian Schools International, or similar entities recognized by the Hawaii Council of Private Schools.

Requires unlicensed but accredited private schools to submit health and safety documentation annually to either the Hawaii Council of Private Schools or the Hawaii Catholic Schools office.

Becomes effective upon approval.
