Requires military personnel called to active duty in Hawaii to be paid without delay from the date of deployment at the same rate as active duty counterparts in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Entitles officers, warrant officers, and enlisted personnel of the Army, Air National Guard, Hawaii State Defense Force, and Navy to basic allowance for housing when ordered to active duty, subject to rules adopted by the governor.

Grants service credit toward public pension and retirement for time served on active duty in the State, allowing current state and county employees to count active duty service toward their retirement benefits.

Allows military personnel to directly deposit their pay by electronic means to personal banking accounts.

Effective July 1, 2022.
