• Requires 501(c)(4) nonprofit organizations operating as noncandidate committees to obtain written consent from donors before using donations for electioneering communications, independent expenditures, or contributions.

• Mandates nonprofits provide written notice to donors that their names and addresses may be publicly reported if they consent to having donations used for political purposes.

• Requires disclosure of names and addresses of donors who contribute individually or in the aggregate more than $10,000 during an election period to nonprofits operating as noncandidate committees.

• Requires nonprofits to confirm within 30 days to any donor who does not consent that their donation will not be used for political purposes and their information will not be reported.

• Takes effect January 1, 2023.
