Prohibits contracts entered into, modified, or renewed on or after July 1, 2021 from restricting the transfer of a person's digital media account upon death to designated devisees or heirs through intestate succession.

Defines "digital media account" as any account for playing, downloading, storing, or organizing digital media (music, video, photographs, audiobooks, games) along with associated login credentials, stored content, and use licenses.

Requires service providers to maintain decedent's digital media accounts upon receipt of proof of death from the personal representative and prohibits termination or destruction of content except for contract violations.

Allows personal representatives to access decedent's digital media accounts by providing proof of death and certified appointment documents, or by court order, then transfer credentials to designated beneficiaries.

Digital media accounts pass to devisees named in the decedent's will or, absent a will, to heirs according to Hawaii intestate succession laws, with beneficiaries subject to the same terms that applied to the decedent.
