Establishes a Land Transfer Task Force comprising legislative leadership, Hawaiian Homes Commission leadership, and Department of Land and Natural Resources leadership to review lands for potential exchange between the two departments.

Task Force directed to inventory approximately 60,000 acres of conservation land under Department of Hawaiian Home Lands jurisdiction that may be better suited for Department of Land and Natural Resources purposes.

Task Force directed to inventory Department of Land and Natural Resources lands that may be better suited for Hawaiian Home Lands purposes and determine the process and challenges for transferring lands between the departments.

Task Force required to submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2023 Regular Session convenes.

Task Force dissolved on July 1, 2023.
