Requests the University of Hawaii to submit a report on the Pamantasan Council's systemwide efforts to improve the status of Filipinos at the University of Hawaii.

Report must include information on the 2019 appropriation, resource and budgetary needs, curriculum development recommendations, and representation and success of Filipino students, faculty, and staff.

University of Hawaii must submit findings and recommendations, including any proposed legislation, no later than twenty days before the convening of the 2023 Regular Session.

Notes that Act 266 (2019) appropriated funds for two full-time equivalent positions for the Pamantasan Council, but COVID-19 budget restrictions prevented hiring; funds are currently supporting an Ilokano distance education lecturer and Filipino Studies certificate development.
