Requests the Governor establish a Hawaii Commission on the United States Semiquincentennial by Executive Order to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 2026.

Directs the Hawaii commission to coordinate a statewide effort celebrating the founding of the United States and related historic events.

References the federal U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission established under Public Law 114-196 and notes that eighteen states have already created similar commissions.

Requires transmission of a certified copy of the resolution to the Governor, the Chairman of the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission, and the Executive Director of the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission.
