Request University of Hawaii to establish a Coral Reef Advisory Team of Youth in collaboration with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and Department of Education.

Direct the team to engage students in learning about coral reef science, conservation methods, and preservation techniques.

Recommend University of Hawaii consider using the Partnerships for Reform through Investigative Science and Math Program's coral reef-related curricula.

Require certified copies of the resolution be sent to the NOAA Director of Education, University of Hawaii President, and State Superintendent of Education.
