Request the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts to report on total funding expended from the Works of Art Special Fund for Native Hawaiian art curation and acquisition.

Require the Foundation to provide the number of Native Hawaiian art pieces acquired, percentage of all collected works that are Native Hawaiian art, cost per piece, and percentage of total acquisition costs attributed to Native Hawaiian art.

Define "Native Hawaiian art" as art produced by individuals of Native Hawaiian descent.

Require submission of the report to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the Regular Session of 2023.

Cite concerns that the Foundation's 2019-2023 Strategic Priorities dedicates only one of twelve objectives to Native Hawaiians and lacks provisions for traditional performing arts like hula.
