Urges the Hawaii Judiciary to consider grandparent visitation rights when awarding visitation during custody disputes.

Requires the Judiciary to evaluate whether grandparent visitation is in the best interest of the child when considering such awards.

Requires the Judiciary to consider whether denial of reasonable grandparent visitation rights would cause significant harm to the child.

Recognizes that grandparents provide cultural heritage, family history, safety, and security for children, particularly those experiencing traumatic life changes.

Directs transmission of a certified copy of the resolution to the Chief Justice of the Hawaii Supreme Court.
