Request Department of Land and Natural Resources to conduct public forums in communities adjacent to large state land parcels currently leased to the military with leases scheduled for renewal or expiration within the next ten years.

Require invitation of military representatives, Department of Defense officials, area legislators, and adjacent landowners to attend the public forums.

Public forums must solicit community input on positive and negative impacts of military leases, preferred future uses of parcels, and restrictions or conditions for lease renewal or renegotiation.

Allow remote participation through live videoconference, mail, email, or online submission process for those unable to attend in-person forums.

Request DLNR submit a summary report of public forum input to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2023 Regular Session.
