Department of Education must assess whether existing child sexual abuse curriculum and training programs align with Erin's Law requirements

Erin's Law requires public schools to implement prevention-oriented programs teaching students age-appropriate techniques to recognize abuse and report to trusted adults, training school personnel about child sexual abuse, and educating parents and guardians about warning signs and available resources

Department must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2023 Regular Session convening

Department is requested to collaborate with advocacy groups including the Sex Abuse Treatment Center and Parents and Children Together during the assessment and report preparation

A certified copy of the resolution must be transmitted to the Superintendent of Education
