Request the State Auditor to conduct a social and financial assessment of House Bill No. 249, which would require health insurers to provide coverage without cost-sharing for sexual and reproductive health care services, drugs, devices, and procedures.

Require the Auditor to submit findings and recommendations, including any proposed legislation, to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2023 Regular Session convenes.

Mandated by Hawaii Revised Statutes section 23-51, which requires legislative assessment before considering any bill that mandates specific health insurance coverage.

Transmission of certified copies to the Auditor, Director of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, and Insurance Commissioner.
