Urges the Board of Education to rename the James B. Castle High School football field after former Representative Ken Ito in recognition of his work for the State, his community, and Castle High School.

Former Representative Ken Ito served in the State House of Representatives for over twenty-three years, representing House District 48 (later District 49) from January 1995 to 2018.

Representative Ito served as Chair of the House Committees on Education; Public Safety and Military Affairs; Water, Land and Ocean Resources; and Veterans, Military, & International Affairs, & Culture and the Arts.

Representative Ito was instrumental in securing funds for Castle High School's current football field and was placed on the Castle Knights Athletic Wall of Honor in 2016.

Directs that certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Chairperson of the Board of Education and the interim Superintendent of Education.
