Department of education food services branch must coordinate with school principals and vice principals to select the most appropriate U.S. Department of Agriculture meal program for each school's student body and campus.

Department of education food services branch is prohibited from disqualifying schools from applying to or participating in federal meal programs based on their prior participation in other programs.

Bill addresses gaps in meal access during COVID-19 school closures, particularly for students in rural areas unable to access Grab N' Go meals due to transportation limitations.
