HI SB1357

Prohibits displaying materials larger than 12 inches by 18 inches on the exterior of motor vehicles, motorcycles, motor scooters, bicycles, or mopeds on public streets, including flags, towels, sheets, and cloths that distract or obstruct drivers' views.

Exempts materials used to secure cargo and red flags or cloths required by section 291-28 from the prohibition.

Establishes a fine of not more than $50 for violations, with subsequent violations within one year subject to twice the previously imposed fine.

Takes effect on January 1, 2050.
