Establishes a unified digital public services working group within the office of enterprise technology services to coordinate state digital applications across multiple departments.

Adds new responsibilities to the chief information officer's duties under Section 27-43, Hawaii Revised Statutes, including coordination of digital public services to maximize user experience, facilitate data sharing between agencies, and protect privacy.

Working group shall consist of representatives from the Hawaii tourism authority, board of land and natural resources, department of transportation, department of agriculture, department of business/economic development/tourism, and department of health, plus other interested departments.

Working group must submit a preliminary report by December 1, 2021, and a final report with findings and recommendations by December 1, 2022, then cease to exist on June 30, 2023.

Takes effect upon approval.
