Requires the auditor of fireworks and articles pyrotechnic records in each county fire department to submit an annual report to the legislature detailing inventory, recordkeeping, and sales of fireworks to license or permit holders.

Annual reports must be submitted no later than twenty days prior to the convening of each regular legislative session.

Maintains existing license fee structure for fireworks businesses: $3,000 for importers, $2,000 for each wholesaler site, $1,000 for each storage site, and $500 for each retailer site.

License fees continue to be used solely by county fire departments to pay for auditor salaries and expenses related to inventory inspection, records maintenance, and auditor training.

Effective date is January 1, 2023.
