Includes tips or gratuities paid directly to an individual by a customer and reported or declared to the employer in the definition of "income" for child support and spousal support calculations under Hawaii Revised Statutes sections 571-52, 571-52.2, 576D-7, and 576E-16.

Expands "income" definition to encompass tips to the extent permitted under relevant federal law for purposes of income withholding orders and support obligation guidelines.

Modifies section 576D-7 to clarify that an obligee parent who has school-age children but remains at home may have thirty or fewer hours of weekly earnings at minimum wage imputed to their income.

Makes grammatical and technical corrections to existing statutory language regarding child support guidelines and income definitions.

Effective date: July 1, 2050.
