Establishes a statewide homelessness information system working group within the Department of Human Services to assess the feasibility of creating a real-time data collection and tracking system for homelessness-related information.

Working group membership includes legislative committee chairs, state agency directors (Human Services, Attorney General, Public Safety, chief information officer), governor's coordinator on homelessness, county prosecutors and police representatives, and nonprofit organizations providing continuum of care services.

Working group must submit a report by twenty days prior to the 2023 legislative session assessing suitable system types, financial feasibility including cost-benefit analysis, and whether operational funding should be included in the Department of Human Services base budget.

Appropriates funds from general revenues for fiscal year 2022-2023 to enable the Department of Human Services to contract with a third-party vendor to prepare the required report.

Effective date of July 1, 2060 (note: this appears to be a clerical error, as the report is due before the 2023 legislative session).
