Requires each county with a population of 200,000 or less to establish a five-year pilot project by January 1, 2023 to regulate hosting platforms that provide booking services for transient accommodations operators

Defines "booking service" as any reservation or payment service that facilitates transient accommodations transactions between users and hosts

Defines "hosting platform" as any person who collects or receives fees for conducting booking service transactions in the transient accommodations business

Mandates counties submit a report with findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2028 regular session

Effective July 1, 2050 and repeals June 30, 2028
