Establishes a temporary Office of Wellness and Resilience within the Office of the Governor to address trauma-informed care and build statewide wellness and resilience programs.

Office headed by an executive director appointed by the governor and staffed with 6.0 FTE positions and two contracted consultants, with staff exempt from civil service and collective bargaining chapters.

Office shall implement recommendations from the trauma-informed care task force, identify unmet needs across departments, secure funding from federal, state, and private sources, and create a social determinants of health electronic dashboard.

Office must submit annual reports to the legislature detailing actions taken, funds received, community engagement, and recommendations including proposed legislation.

Appropriates $894,528 from general revenues for fiscal year 2022-2023 for the office's establishment and operations, effective July 1, 2022.
