Department of Agriculture, in consultation with the Department of Health, shall develop and implement a one-time pesticide disposal collection program for agricultural entities, licensed pest control operators, and entities that inherited pesticides.

Department of Agriculture shall establish disposal locations on the islands of Hawaii, Kauai, Lanai, Maui, Molokai, and Oahu, each offering a thirty-day disposal opportunity for restricted use and nonrestricted use pesticides.

Program shall be free for disposal of up to fifty pounds of pesticides per entity; fees may apply for cumulative weight exceeding fifty pounds.

Advisory Committee on Pesticides shall serve as the steering committee to guide and monitor the program.

Department of Agriculture shall implement the program no later than June 30, 2023, with an unspecified appropriation from general revenues for fiscal year 2022-2023.
