Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 571-52 to allow obligees under orders solely for spousal or former spousal support to elect enforcement through chapters 651, 652, or 653 instead of through the clerk of the court.

Specifies that when a spouse or former spouse elects to enforce their support order directly, no wage assignment shall be made to the court clerk.

Updates statutory language for clarity, including replacing "such" with "the," "insure" with "ensure," and "or not" with "regardless of."

Maintains automatic wage assignment procedures for child support orders and combined child support and spousal support orders.

Takes effect upon approval.
