Prohibits sale, offer for sale, or distribution of sunscreen containing oxybenzone or octinoxate without a prescription from a licensed health care provider, effective January 1, 2021.

Beginning January 1, 2023, prohibits sale, offer for sale, or distribution of any sunscreen containing active ingredients not generally recognized as safe and effective by the FDA without a prescription from a licensed health care provider.

Defines "licensed health care provider" as a physician, osteopathic physician licensed under chapter 453, or an advanced practice registered nurse licensed under chapter 457.

Repeals prior provision prohibiting counties from enacting ordinances restricting sunscreen sales, labeling, or distribution prior to January 1, 2021.

Effective date of January 1, 2050.
