Broadens the scope of profit-making operations students may engage in at schools to include commercial enterprises, alongside existing agricultural and industrial pursuits.

Requires that commercial enterprise activities be related to the primary educational purposes of the school, career pathway, academy, or program as specified in section 302A-448.

Allows students to receive school credit, compensation (net profits), or both when engaging in permitted profit-making operations.

Requires net profits from these operations to support the programs and fund equipment and materials for general student benefit, or be distributed among participating students.

Takes effect on July 1, 2022.
