Office of Enterprise Technology Services shall establish a working group to study state office buildings capable of providing remote telecommunication access to legislative hearings for residents of Hawaii, Kauai, and Maui counties, plus rural Oahu residents and those with disabilities.

Working group membership shall include representatives from each county, Department of Accounting and General Services, Department of Education, University of Hawaii system, and at least one person with a communication disability.

Working group must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2023 regular legislative session convenes.

Working group dissolves on June 30, 2023.

Act takes effect July 1, 2022.
