Appropriates funds to the University of Hawaii for the relocation and expansion of the University of Hawaii Maui College, Molokai Education Center for fiscal year 2022-2023.

Relocates the Molokai Education Center to 14.5 acres of land owned by Kamehameha Schools in Kalamaula, Molokai (tax map key: 2-5-2-011-006), which is outside areas threatened by sea level rise.

Requires the University of Hawaii to consult with the local Molokai community to ensure community needs and concerns are addressed during the relocation.

Addresses increasing enrollment at the center and the threat of sea level rise to the current low-lying location, while preserving the only higher education institution on Molokai.

Effective date: July 1, 2022.
