Amends the definition of "address" in Hawaii's Uniform Controlled Substances Act (Chapter 329) to permit post office boxes, rural route boxes, and highway contract route boxes for prescriptions if the physical address where the individual resides is on file with the pharmacy.

Expands the acceptable forms of address to include street address with city and state, tax map key numbers, or descriptions of physical locations, in addition to the new allowances for mailing boxes.

Aims to reduce pharmacist workload by eliminating the need to convert post office box numbers to physical addresses when processing prescriptions.

Effective January 1, 2023.
