Extends the deadline for the Hawaii Department of Agriculture to certify the important agricultural land qualified agricultural cost tax credit from December 31, 2021 to December 31, 2030.

Allows taxpayers with accumulated but unclaimed certified credits to continue claiming credits in subsequent taxable years until fully exhausted.

Aims to support food self-sufficiency by providing additional time for landowners and farmers to claim tax credits after their agricultural lands are designated as important agricultural lands by the land use commission.

Takes effect on July 1, 2022 and applies to taxable years beginning after December 31, 2021.
