Adds a new definition of "intellectual property" to Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 708-800, defining it as intangible property rights in creative products protected under copyright, patent, trademark, and trade secret laws.

Amends the definition of "property" to expressly include intellectual property and property stored in an electronic medium that is retrievable in a perceivable form.

Updates property crime statutes to enable prosecution of crimes involving intellectual property and electronically stored property.

Applies only prospectively; does not affect rights, duties, penalties, or proceedings that existed before the Act's effective date.

Takes effect upon approval.
