SB 592 Summary

• Allows any number of board members to attend informational meetings or presentations on matters relating to official board business without public notice or meeting requirements

• Removes the previous restriction that limited attendance to "two or more" members but "less than a quorum"

• Requires board members who attend such informational meetings to report their attendance and matters discussed at the next duly noticed board meeting

• Permits private discussions between legislators and board members without limitation or subsequent reporting, provided the discussion does not involve the board's adjudicatory functions

• Takes effect upon approval
