Amends Section 201B-2, Hawaii Revised Statutes, to modify board member tenure requirements for the Hawaii Tourism Authority.

Removes the provision allowing board members to hold office as holdovers until a successor is appointed and qualified.

Requires board members to vacate their positions by the beginning of the next regular legislative session following expiration of their four-year term.

Maintains the existing limit that board membership cannot exceed eight consecutive years total.

Takes effect upon approval.
