• Prohibits the manufacture or importation of fur products into Hawaii for sale beginning January 1, 2022.

• Exempts fur products made exclusively from used fur products (items previously worn or used by consumers) from the prohibition.

• Defines "fur product" to include clothing, fashion accessories, and home decor made wholly or partly of fur, but excludes dog/cat fur, leather products, cowhide, sheepskin, and taxidermied animal pelts.

• Makes violations a misdemeanor offense.
